Directions
NOACA is a regional government agency that has responsibility for transportation, environmental and economic development planning and is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the five counties of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina. In that capacity, it combines data, planning, engineering, and collaboration to deliver impactful transportation programs to the communities it serves. At the meeting, we will be joined by a team from NOACA that includes Rob Uhlhorn, Interim Director of the Transportation Planning and Engineering Division; Lisa Durkin, Associate Director of Human Resources; and Lindy Burt, Director of Administrative Services. Together, they will present on the following topics:
• How NOACA fulfills its mission in working with communities and other stakeholders to support transportation in northeast Ohio
• NOACA’s efforts to be an employer of choice in the transportation planning industry
• Business opportunities with NOACA for transportation consultants
